The amigurumi sleepy owl is made with Jacquard technique and mixed with other fibers (felt) and cotton thread. We have so much admiration towards such incredible creatures! I never get tired of thinking of their physical appearance and their nocturnal habits. Here in Finland in autumn when we go to the country side we can listen to them in the night. In the middle of the Autumnal silence the majestic owl sings a song for the night.
Sometimes while free crocheting I enjoy sitting and letting my head create our friends. It is therapeutic and makes me reflect upon many things and our relation with animals. I wish we could learn more from the wise owls.
