TSATT Annual Amigurumi Halloween Swap

The Sun and the Turtle annual Halloween Amigurumi swap.

The Amigurumi Halloween Swap Challenge Version #2 is here!! Last year we had a great swap with our friends from the Mad Crochet Lab and Liz Cirque du Crochet. We made scary and horrific rotten pumpkins and send it to each other. It was very fun to design the amigurumi, make it and send it to a friend overseas as well as a great Halloween present. If you dare to participate this year in our Halloween swap be prepared to get really scared! The topic of this year is "The character of my nightmares".

Sign up until Sunday 13th of October, send the amigurumi no later than October 21st.

Do you hide under the bed every time you hear about the girl of "The Ring"?

Or get chills every time you see a clown because it reminds you "The Thing"?

Or Jason, Freddy, Chucky, The girl of the exorcist, etc, etc, etc?

Join us and make the horror character that scare you the most in amigurumi format! You can join by leaving a comment below or in our Facebook page.

How does it work?

1. Sign in by commenting below or in our Facebook page

2. We will assign you a partner. Note that this is an international swap and the post can take longer in some countries

3. Choose your character but do not reveal it until the 31st of October

4. Make an amigurumi of your chosen character, make a very scary amigurumi and surprise your swap partner!

5. Share your progress (WIP) in your Facebook page or in our Facebook page, we will gather all the WIPs in a folder and share it with our friends and in The Hook Ninja Herald

6. When you are done, take a picture of your finished scary amigurumi, send it to us to contact(at)thesunandtheturtle(dot)com, or send it via our Facebook page.

7. To finish, send your finished amigurumi to your swap partner no later than October 21st.
