Have you seen this in an amigurumi pattern and not know what the heck means or how to make it? The magic ring is the most important thing to do when you are starting your amigurumi. It starts the rounded sphere you will crochet. Takes a while to get your own technique, for me it is easier to use some fingers to help myself holding the yarn. See the video inside.
